just thought Id let you know we have received a good evaluation for the
workshops at Cedar in spite of the burst water main!! All the workshops received good comments from both pupils
and teachers alike.

- I thought the comments on a whole were very powerful.

Hi Alan,
I just wanted to send you a quick message to say
a big thanks to you and Lyn for the festival, I know you all worked your socks off and am just sorry I never had chance to
sit and properly chat – I am thinking of cloning myself in anticipation of the next festival, so that one of me can
run around like a headless chicken and the other can leisurely stroll around and talk to everyone!!!
Anyhow, I heard
great things about your stand from both members of the public and other artists within the marquee, who also made particular
reference to your storytelling turns that you did, apparently they were immensely popular, not that I am surprised.
Hope
you and the gang would be up for working for me at the festival again, if we do do it again, I will ensure the Arts Marquee
is larger.
If you have any feedback about the festival, I am all ears, as I am trying to generate as much feedback
for our evaluation of the event as possible.

I thought you would like to see
a letter I recieved from a parent of a year 4 pupil last week
Our son never enjoyed reading until he did reading week
he has joined the local library and constantly keeps picking a book up. Reading was never one of Jack's favourite subjects
but over the past week he has shown more enthusism about reading. And I think reading week should continue to encourage
children of all ages to read.
Now I am happy. Thank you for helping us do this.

Sorry I missed you after
school.
Thanks for the work that you did with our children this week, they really enjoyed it. It is amazing how you
can get so much work out of them in such little time. I loved the way that the less confident children were allowed to shine
and you could just see their self-esteem growing.
Take care and hope to see you again sometime. Let us know if you
do a theatre tour in this area.
